Where The Sun Always Shines…

And After The Storm…

The sun does come out! And it shines even brighter than before! We have to always remember that only rainbows after rain; the sun will always come again.

We survived Hurricane Irene. Didn’t lose power, or trees, or anything! and now I can say I’ve been thru a hurricane altho by the time it hit us it was more as a tropical storm, but ya know! =P Yesterday was actually a really awesome day! Inspite of Irene, I had a truly fabulous day, but didn’t forget the severity of it and everyone who was horribly affected by Irene.

Isaiah wasn’t scheduled to work til 4pm which would have been after it really hit us so I was ok with him going to work then, altho I figured if he could make it there, he would prob be stuck at work. We had our morning coffee and cuddles and started watching “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” and were having a really good morning! =) But when they called him in at noon o’clock, I was really frustrated and worried because the worst was supposed to hit us around then! o.O Isaiah left to go to work and I was really worried about him driving there thru all the awful conditions and getting stuck at work for who knows how long! and then me being stuck at the house alone! >.< I was having a bit of a meltdown with it all…

He texted me and said it was really bad… which didn’t make me feel any better… then he called saying he couldn’t get through and was gonna try to get back home but didn’t know if he could because water was so high in places. I was worrying even more now! but God is awesome and so loves his people and brought my Superman home to me safely! ♥ When he got back, I hugged him tightly and then punched him! =P because he was on an adrenaline high from his adventure… oy vey! men! LOL! And pretty much hog tied him down to keep him home from going out anywhere else!

We made some sandwiches for lunch then came upstairs to finish our movie and enjoy our day together! ♥ we spent all day cuddled together, watching The Office and just having some much needed time stuck together. I thoroughly enjoyed it! then we made spaghetti for dinner which was really goooooood btw and watched more of The Office. =) yes, we really like it! it hurts my brain sometimes because its sooo stupid but its really good. Then I decided that cookies and coffee sounded like an amazing addition to our fabulous day! =) so I went and made chocolate chip walnut cookies for us! Coffee, cookies and cuddles: three essentials to an incredible relationship! I think anyway! We watched more of The Office til we went to sleep.

It was a fabulous day. ♥ very!

Now I just need to keep busy (which is hard actually) while he works today… can’t wait til he comes home tonight! ♥ and I get to see my Love again! and then tomorrow is our 4 MONTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! =O AND HE HAS THE DAY OFF! *YAY* OMG! ^_^
