All Over The World In One City
I love last minute trips! Just makes them so much more exciting! Even more when its a trip with Katrina!
Saturday morning we decided to head to New York City for the weekend. YESSSSS! I LOOOOOOOVE NYC!! Aunt Abby is off on a trip and said if we wanted to go stay in their flat we could… so duh we did! So we drove down to get Cheddar the dog and then hopped on the train to NYC. Once at one of my most favorite places, Grand Central Station, we took the subway the rest of the way to the flat. Also right next to Chinatown and SoHo. Its a really interesting place… one corner you got to Italy, the next China. haha!
I soo enjoyed looking out and seeing the hussle and bustle of the city.

Those faces were on the Jewish building called The Freedom Tower across from the flat and quite interesting to look at!
We enjoyed spending time together, people watching and when we figured out the house system we watched some Switched at Birth. Finally we decided we were hungry and went out to find something to eat. We walked all around found a Starbucks, then walked around more to decide what to get. I mean Italian or Chinese or Japanese or what? choices choices choices!
We chose California and New York Sushi with fried rice! Katrina loves sushi. So we ate and then watched the night go by!
I so loved the view!
After taking loads of photos of things and being totally awesome together, we settled down for the night with more Switched at Birth til we fell asleep! haha we like to go hard in the city…
we probably would have if we had more time to plan this trip!
Woke up the next day and walked around trying to find an bakery for some Italian pastries bc they are so good! We ended up going to this cute little place called…

Katrina ordered a cannoli and coffee and I got cofee and this…
definitely New York style! so good!
After that we decided to walk around and went all around. From the flat to all the way to Chelsea! We definitely got our exercise!
It was so fun to see all the interesting people and buildings and everything! this was one building I really liked!
it was just a part of a building but so cool and protective to me!
We of course, had a fanstatical time and I can’t wait to do it again with Katrina… bc she’s just so awesome!
and we have fabulously awesome times together! in fact… Isaiah and Katrina and I are headed to upstate New York for the weekend to visit some friends and I know there are many more grand times to be had! =D

The fair was last weekend and since Isaiah had Labor Day off, we picked up Katrina and went to enjoy the day! of course we hit up the goat barn, but luckily Isaiah wasn’t wanting to hang there for toooo long
so we went to the other barns to see all other animals. We looked through all the chickens since he used to show and is looking to show next year.
So after we watched the first ox pull, we found Katrina again and went to get some fair food. I mean, that’s the only reason to even go to the fair is for the food right? Duh!
Katrina and I got corn dogs which was crunchy and so good! then we walked the whole fair to find the cotton candy booth to which Katrina and I shared… or gobbled up the whole bag! well.. Katrina wore hers. lol!

While we finished off our cotton candy, we watched the higher class of ox pull… holy cow… literally. they were huge! just look at them!
and the horns on these ones! they were so impressive…
Katrina and I decided we needed some fried dough… well I grew up calling it elephant ears, but it was good no matter what we called it tho!
While enjoying our fried elephant ear dough and the ox pull over #8,000, I decided we need a photo of all of us to document this fabulous day with two of my most favorite people! ♥
We always have so much fun together and I am so glad we got to go!

Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter Review
So I really really love coconut. coconut anything really. And the best place to get your coconut fill is Tropical Traditions. Now I just gotta praise Tropical Traditions because they are just awesome. Like no joke amazing!

Their products are such great quality, they have awesome deals all the time, you have so many options of things to get but their service is way better. I ordered 2 of their 32oz jars of Virgin Coconut Oil Gold Label. When I got them through the mail, one of my jars was completely broken up! First time that had ever happened and I was sorely disappointed bc the other jar was for Michael. So I emailed TT and they are now sending me a replacement, no charge, even tho it wasn’t their fault! They are just that awesome.
I also received their Coconut Peanut Butter for review. I am really horrible about reviews… I’ve found out.
But I am going to get better! YES I AM!
I really enjoyed it, Isaiah thought it was interesting. It has a really good balance of coconut and peanut butter and they are such a great mix together! I really like it on 12 grain bread as a snack during the day. I also felt more energized after I ate the CPB, and this stuff is so much better than 5hr Energy! Plus it just tastes so good! The best part is the CPB is only 32 calories per serving and for someone watching their calories (like me) this is wonderful because its filling and low
I added the CPB to my chocolate chip cookies! mmmmm! so here is my special recipe for those amazing cookies!
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup coconut peanut butter
1 large egg
2 1/4 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour*
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1/4 cup coconut flakes
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)>
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°F.
In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, vanilla, coconut peanut butter and egg with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

While we only had from 8pm and on to get to spend Valentine’s Day together… of course we made it the bestest ever!

So after a Chinese takeout dinner… Isaiah pretty much passed out and I watched some tv then we went to bed… but our Love Day actually carried over to today!
I am sooo lucky!
We had a date day and went to the mall and had Olive Garden for lunch then walked off our soup, salad, and breadsticks before The Vow was gonna play at the theater. It was a good movie… thought they could have ended it better but it was alright. Then we headed to his parents for a few hours then back home to chill and just have a fabulous night to end a fabulous day! ♥
I am so loved by my husband and its truly the best ever! he shows me everyday what love truly is! ♥ I love him more every second!
