I’ve always been a history buff… and I love it! The Titanic has always fascinated me… like really really intrigued me! So it being the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking, Mystic Aquarium was having an exhibit of it. The reason for the permanent exhibit is because Dr. Robert Ballard who discovered the Titanic in 1985, also started the Institute for Exploration which is partnered with Mystic Aquarium.
the sub Alvin/Turtle that carried Dr. Ballard to the Titanic
blueprints of the ship, a replica room, and the Titanic

one of the bathtubs.
Did you know: “Although most passengers had to share bathrooms (only the two promenade suites in first class had private bathrooms), third class had it rough with only two bathtubs for more than 700 passengers.”

There was more to this exhibit but it was quite busy when we were there so we didn’t get a chance to spend as much time there as I wanted. Still a very exciting and thrilling exhibit that I can’t wait to go to again!
with smiles,
