Proud As A Peacock!
Isaiah had a sheep shearing job today and of course I went along. It is actually interesting to watch! But I course was taking photos which you will see the shearing photos at Isaiah’s blog! The place today we went had peacocks and let me tell ya… they are a really awesome animal!
I had a hard time getting good shots because they are shy. The owner told me if they don’t know you or recognize you they will go crazy trying to get away from you! BUT! I was sneaky! lol! there was an open window that I was able to stick my camera thru to get some shots of them!
which was like completely awesome! but then again… they did not stand still hardly at all so it was tricky to get some good shots even with my awesome sneaky moves!
They were only yearlings so their tail feathers haven’t come in like the magnificent peacock tails that we all love but they are still really beautiful! I wouldn’t mind having a couple of these when we have our own place because they are just down right cool!
with smiles,

They are beauties…

My dad’s godmother has peacocks! They’re the best (though they make obnoxious noises). And one of the great things about them is how you can use their tail feathers for decoration (and any number of crafts) when they fall off. They’re a pretty cool bird, all in all. ![]()

Cool shots!
I like peacock feathers but I don’t like the animals so much, because of the weird noises they make. They are loud birds to have hanging around ![]()
